hiya, Reader.
today’s email comes to you with the following vibration:
assurance is not always loud.
doubt sometimes holds clarity.
crying can come with a smile.
loving may look like leaving for a time.
J’Aime, one of the iNCOMING founders, an integral pillar of our mission to help you to live in heart-centered purpose, is in this moment embodying all of it. she is on her way to Thailand to reset, recharge, embody sensory mechanics and live from the depths of the call of her own heart.
enjoy her share friend, and stay connected to her journey in our free-for-all community.
💗🇹🇭 A Call from the HEART
airports have a way of revealing what matters. perhaps it’s because they ask us to leave so much behind.
i write this now from one of those in between places, the liminal stretch. in a few hours i will board a one way flight to Thailand.
today i have unzipped my life into bins, carrying only what i can hold and trusting that what is meant to arrive with me will.
as i sit here, one word continues to echo through me -
quest.
every quest begins the same way: with a call. one that is not loud enough for the mind to understand, yet is unmistakable to the heart. some quests lead us across oceans while others ask us to travel inward. the truest ones ask us to do both.
and so i go.
for the past six years, my life has been one of movement. i have lived in the homes of others, caring for their animals and becoming a steward of the spaces entrusted to me.
it has been a life that has taught me
presence,
adaptability,
and the unexpected ways we can belong.
and beneath all of that movement, another longing was quietly making itself known.
the longing to root; to settle long enough for the waters within me to become clear again.
for the first time in six years, i will have a place that is my own. it is a place where i can wake to the same sounds, walk the same paths, and allow my energy to arrive fully before asking it to move again.
home is not a place for me. i have found that it is a relationship:
with my body,
with presence,
and with the quiet intelligence that lives beneath the noise of the mind.
___
there have been moments in my life when a single sentence spoken at just the right time has unlocked something that was already waiting within, a deep instinct to be willing to move before there is evidence, a willingness to honor what the body knows before the world can validate it.
when Thailand entered my awareness, something within me recognized it long before my mind understood why.
it isn't the destination that called to me, it is the recognition that arrived within me. and that is the thing about life, the courage to remember that it is yours to be lived.
i know this is a place where my nervous system can finally exhale and where my inner waters can settle enough to become clear again.
i do not know exactly what waits for me there. i do not know what i will create, what i will discover, or who i will become.
what i do know is that i cannot invite others into a deeper relationship with themselves without continuing to deepen that relationship within my own life.
how can i teach what i have not been willing to embody?
the loving work that we share at the iNCOMING has never been about collecting more answers. it has always been about learning to listen, to trust, and to receive.
clear water does not search for its reflection: it simply becomes still enough to reveal it.
i release any expectation of what this quest should become.
the quest itself is enough.
to live from the heart rather than the mind - because we do not find ourselves by searching, we find ourselves by answering the quiet pull of the soul.
in expansion, J'Aime
